Droid Explorer on CDMA Hero

Dec 24, 2009 at 5:02 PM

Hi all, I am using a rooted Sprint hero with modaco v.1.3a http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=587674

The device is connected because I can get a screenshot, but droid explorer doesn't recognize any folders and I can't find any indication of explorer on the device. Is it supposed to show up in applications? Is this likely a busybox issue? I think the rom used 1.15.2.

Thanks for help.

can you set debug info to "ExecuteOnLoad=True" in Tools->Options->Plugins->DebugInfo. then restart droid explorer and post what it outputs when it starts.

Ok, the only thing i can suggest, is

  • Ask the ROM developer to add support for that in busybox
  • put a different version of busybox on the device.

Droid Explorer uses the --color=never because other hero roms have --color=always on by default. I can not remove that from the command without breaking existing supported ROMS.
