Installation Error

description

Win 7 32 bit. I have completely uninstalled all former Android SDKs, using yours. Here is the error from the Installer. The service DOES show in my services.msc, but it will not start.:

System.InvalidOperationException: Cannot start service DroidExplorerService on computer '.'. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceController.Start(String[] args)
at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceController.Start()
at DroidExplorer.Bootstrapper.Panels.StartServicePanel.StartService()

Sounds like the service was not completely removed when you uninstalled and when you reinstalled, it was unable to create the service.

Try rebooting, and then installing again.

I have rebooted ....about a dozen times. Installed, rebooted, uninstalled, rebooted. Uninstalled with Windows 7 under Programs and Features--uninstall. rebooted, reinstalled, uninstalled with your "Delete, Install, Repair" page after I reinstalled and it still didn't work. Uninstaled/reinstalled from a completely adb.exe free machine, no soap. Rebooted again and then let the message fly.

Believe me, I tried. The only thing different from the beginning of the saga was the errors. At first it could not find the aapt.exe file in the path, despite me editing the path to include your program and subdirectories. When it was those errors, I at least got the "Loading Droid Explorer" screen for a few seconds before the error. Then I got the install error and now the first sets of logs, (from the aapt.exe segment) have been all erased.
